the dark side of the beard

a rare side-ish view of the early beard. excellent contrast between dark beard and light soul patch.

old kitchen, new beard

this was in the days before i needed a beard net when cooking french toast. the beard is taking a nice shape, and the soul patch flows right into it beautifully. this was on the way to the sanford / cal big game. and it happens to be my mom's birthday!

poor hannah cegielski doesn't want to be near the beard. but soon, babies would be grabbing and not letting go.

just over a month old, the beard seems to have inspired a violent streak in me. and a propensity to wear multiple shades of green. this was at cat's corner.
